Audio Works

During the late 90’s, Kolkata music industry was not much familiar with the digital audio production. Just a handful of audio engineers started experimenting with digital recording. Usage of computers, recording software, ADA converters, digital mixers, DAWs, MIDI, VSTi, drum programming, etc. were introduced by a small group and I was one of them. But during this time there were no college-level programs offered in the field of audio engineering. So, I started exploring these software and advanced recording techniques on my own and through online tutorials. This was the time when I also designed a home studio, which I still continue to use. I started freelance work of mixing, mastering, music production, programming, sound design etc. and within a few month I was significantly appreciated for my work within the Kolkata music industry. Around this time, I formed the first new-age rock band of West Bengal – Eeshaan.  Besides being the keyboardist, vocalist and rapper, I used to be the sole person responsible for all music programming, audio recording, mixing and mastering. In spite of no academic degree in radio programming, I was chosen by the largest radio network of the country, 92.7 BIG FM to join as the executive audio engineer of the Kolkata station. I earned several awards for my role in enhancing the station.
